The First Thing I Wanted to Be When I Grew Up

Honest to goodness gracious I wanted to be an actress when I grew up. I know, please don't laugh. I've always been so captivated by films and the beautiful actresses that portrayed my favorite characters made me want to be like them. I soon came to realize that there was no chance of this happening and quickly moved on to my current state: having no darn idea!

First Time I Flew On A Plane

I was roughly 11 years old and will always remember this because it was two big achievements for me: going to California and flying. I always have been, and always will be a California girl at heart, even if I've never lived there! Anyways I was so excited to fly, but also very nervous! I thought I'd get stuck in security for some unknown reason or that turbulence would bring the plane down (I worry too much for my own good). Regardless of my fears though, I was elated. I still have pictures of the clouds from that flight. The ones I took while leaning over an old lady to reach the window. Don't worry, I asked first!
