Random Thursday: What's in my purse..

I'm really excited to do this post, I've been waiting all week so I could do it, and as luck would have it I was slammed with a bunch of homework tonight. So hopefully since it's two minutes into friday this still counts..

If I had done this post about a month ago I might have actually decided not to show what was in my purse..because it gets scary. Like ask me for an ingredient for your crazy pie and I've got it! But since school is here and on some days I use my purse as a back-pack, it's not too bad. I think.

Anywho, this is what my purse looks like

 

It actually used to be white but hey, change is good!

I always have to have my laptop with me, its comforting. Even if I'm not on it. For Christmas I got a Kindle (yay!) so of course, that's always with me!! And you can't go anywhere without the tunes, right??

Since I started this blog, I've been keeping a little notebook with me just incase I get struck by inspiration. I know it's old school but hey, I'm in college, give me some slack? And of course, you can't go anywhere without a good magazine! Who doesn't want to be thinking about food 24/7?

 

Small confession: I'm an office supply junkie. Pens are my preferred drug of choice. Admit it, color coding is so much FUN!! I have an assigned color for each class along with a highlighter and that doesn't even touch on my blogging colors!

Ah, my little beauty. Although it's small, this thing holds just about as much as my purse does! And it accounts for about half of the weight too!

Now this really gets my boyfriend mad because he hates when I wear makeup (crazy kid), but I just can't go anywhere without my makeup bag. It's my security blanket. Nail file because I've started the horrible habit of biting my nails. Lighter because, honestly who knows? I think this made the transition from the crazy pie bag. And last, my savior, lotion. Since it's always windy, cold, and miserable here, I have to keep my skin hydrated.

A lot of the time I'm too tired to really put eyeshadow or liner on in the mornings, so once my foundation is on I just reach in my purse for one of these lovelies and make my lips pop! I've recently become obsessed with red lips so the lipsticks rotate a bit, but you'll never see me with fewer lip products than what you see here.

And last but most certainly not least, my gloves/mittens (so cute) and hat. It's South Dakota ya'll. You're crazy if you don't at least have this on. Kit Kats because, duh.
